The current astrology continues to test our limits! The Structures, limitations and old ways of relating and living must come to an end at this time. And what better way to push it along than another major astrological blast...

The chart above is for the 6th August, after the T Square when the planetary aspects are at their tightest and the moon swings into position to complete a Grand Cross pattern. The fast moving moon makes a fleeting appearance in this pattern, but what really matters is the "T-square" part of the pattern involving many planets in the early degrees of Cardinal signs, as of course when the moon is not involved the point of the pattern completing the Grand Cross is missing. These aspects are starting to come into effect in a big way this coming week and will intensify until their early August peak. Because this pattern is forming in the very early degrees of what are called Cardinal signs, starting with the Jupiter - Uranus conjunction around the start of the zodiac circle at the beginning of Aries, it is known as the Cardinal Climax, and its significance is amplified. It is very important to understand that such configurations are EXTREMELY RARE EVENTS, it is most powerful aspect in Earth's written history.

So, what does this extremely tight and tense astrological configuration mean for the world? In interpreting these pattern it helps to understand that disharmonious aspects to planets can bring about the following negative manifestations - Mars: aggression, conflict and war, Jupiter: inflation and excess, overreaching, Saturn: authoritarianism, austerity, privation, poverty, Uranus: sudden developments, revolution and anarchy, Pluto: chaos and mass destruction leading to fundamental transformation. All of these planets are involved in this tight grouping, and for clarity planets that are not involved in it are not shown, which includes the Sun. Looking around at the world today we have a number of threatening disasters or catastrophes, any of which appear to be very much on the edge and ready to slide over...

Do the negative implications of this extreme planetary configuration have to manifest immediately? Not necessarily, but there could be some time lag. For example Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in July - August 1990, between a solar and lunar eclipse and just before an extremely malefic Grand Cross in the heavens in fixed signs, but was not kicked out until the next pair of eclipses 6 months later, in Operation Desert Storm. The symbolism of this Grand Cross could not be more apt, with Mars, the god of war, and Pluto standing for catharsis and mass destruction being involved - six months later Saddam Hussein's army was humiliated and sent packing and the Kuwaiti oil fields were set ablaze.

Continue to utalise your 2010 T Square Wands, Astrology Wizard Wands, gather in the Heart of Space to receive and work with the energies. The world truly needs peoplel gathering and standing in prayer and blessing current. Remain grounded, stabalising this new shift in consciousness. This is the moment that we have all be waiting for...

The word for astrology over the next couple of years is 'explosive' and the planetary alignments are only going to intensify, especially mid-year 2010. What we need is an explosion of Conscious and Heart Current; the Alchymie helps us to meet these planetary alignments with consciousness, so they can be mitigated even dissolved in our case if we are available to the transformation.

It is altogether possible in this Age of Grace to approach our first large transit in late July with the intention of ‘no destructive fallout’. This is the Age of Miracles and by bringing Consciousness to what this astrology represents, we can avoid the potential karmic outcomes. These changes and transitionings can only occur by Grace, not by being lost in our suffering. May we pass through this intense time minus the explosive portents that would be the case without Divine intervention.

The windows of the local bookshop this week include the following titles - 'Requiem For a Planet' (Clive Hamilton, author of Affluenza), 'Saving Wall Street From Within" (a dinosaur on the cover), a similar title contemplating how something so big as the financial system could collapse, and a How To Survive The Coming Collapse title. It is obvious that we have entered a very intense period of transformation, both personally and at a unity/world level. If you have ever felt or sensed the verity of astrology, then you will understand when I say that this is the time we have been waiting for! The coming years leading up to 2012 are the most significant for all of us and we are all very lucky to be alive to be witness to all that is about to take place – the birthing of a new age. The Divine is coming to mankind and we are simply the tools for this emergence.

There is much fear and concern about the potential disasters and no doubt we have only begun to see the manifestations of a world under extreme pressure. But the big question really needs to be – where do I stand as all of this goes down? Am I going to cling to fear and old structures, or am I going to find the courage and humility to walk forward into the new dawn, into the new world that awaits us?

I would like to provide a brief summary of what I feel the stars are presenting to us over the coming years, in the hope that this simply serves in bringing to light the necessity for us to change and allow real growth now in preparation. We can’t change the destiny written in the stars by any egoic effort. We must awaken truly in our submission to that which is greater than us, the mystery itself.

Being an Astrologer for many years now, I can testify to the power of the Alchymeic products, in particular the Bubblers and Hearts of Space. I have seen many great transformations in my friends and clients as they have used these Hermetic gifts and have absolute faith in their capacity to counteract the negative karmas or necessary lesions that would otherwise have been insurmountable. They are the Divine hand we have been reaching out for.

During the next couple of years the outer, slow moving, transcendental planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) are forming intense alignments to each other. Most of these are intensely difficult and indicate radical change. In the conventional sense this would bring destruction, which is what we have witnessed in the Kali Yuga "Age of Darkness" and also recently as we emerge from our deep sleep.

In the past few years we were very blessed to have some fortuitous planetary alignments heralding the New World. Now, the planets and their relationship to each other - and the entire cosmos - are bringing the creative tension required to manifest this New World, which is beginning to manifest at a material level. But this will be challenging!

In mid 2008, Neptune the planet we associate with the Mystery began forming a blessing and healing aspect with Chiron, the wounded healer - first conjunct (embracing) in Aquarius and later in Pisces. This auspicious alignment began providing humanity with the opportunity to heal its forgetting, to heal its relationship with the Mystery, with God. There is an availability and response in humanity to this need, but it has to be much much greater, and much faster.

In March 2010 Uranus squared the galactic centre and Jupiter will do the same in May. This may feel like a destabilising energy and may relate to the poles, even if there is no outer evidence of any shift in our earthly poles, it could relate to the poles within our human forms.

In April 2010 Saturn will oppose Uranus and also be challenging Neptune. Saturn demands responsibility for change and progress and will also be challenging us to find a real, mature, responsible relationship to God. The past and the present (Saturn/Uranus) need to be 'resolved' rather than at odds.

May 2010 brings Jupiter into a conjunction with Uranus, both opposing Saturn, and Saturn remains in a difficult aspect (quincunx) to Neptune. Saturn will demand an end to the partying and oblivion on the Titanic…

In June 2010 the Jupiter conjunct Uranus will continue, but both move out of Pisces into Aries, which will heat things up. The unconscious expression of aries is the terror that is war and it must stop! By late June 2010 Jupiter and Uranus will both square Pluto. This will really up the ante as this is an intensely explosive transit and could intensify the destruction and suffering we are already facing. This transit needs to really be taken into account. We need to bring attention to it and work with prayer and the Hermes Astrology Energies and Bubbler meditation. Outer planets squaring Pluto bring intense change - endings, death, rebirth. We need to respond to this pluto challenge. May it be more like the phoenix rising from the ashes – the liberation minus the destruction & suffering.

In July 2010 we hit a big one… Saturn returns to the cocktail again squaring Pluto until October. But by late July the mega intense T square activates when Mars conjuncts Saturn and opposes Jupiter and Uranus as they all square Pluto. We don't need to wait any longer for the end of the world as we have known it, this alignment will see to it! This is such an intense transit you can guarantee it will be absolutely explosive. This time is a time in which we really need to be ready and we have to engage heart prayers and the Allchymie. Our prayer must be that instead of manifesting as something terrible, the creative tension of this time can birth Truth and Change, to eclipse the status quo and the Consciousness of death in this place. We can’t really know how this T square will manifest, but it will be a change that is worldwide, not local.

August 2010 is a continuation of July's extremely intense alignments.

By September 2010 Uranus will square the galactic centre, which continues till late 2010 - yet another destabilising energetic and implies challenge and change to the 'centre' - once again suggesting pole shift/alignment/earth changes.

October-December 2010 - the north node in Capricorn will conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. The Divine Destiny begins with us taking responsibility, growing up (Capricorn) and engaging transformation and surrender (Pluto). This energy is very powerful - the thrust to bring into form necessary social development and change. We will be seeing the end of outmoded structures and ways of doing things, of relating to each other. Our societies, our political lives, will be in the spotlight.

We will speak more about 2011 as it approaches, but in general, 2011 heralds more 'heavyweight' alignments with the outer planets. In April and June there are more Saturn, Uranus and Pluto squares and oppositions with the addition of Mars to the mix in April and May. In June 2011 Saturn and Uranus will square Pluto until September 2011. This will feel like an intense need for unity, to resist separation and to allow submission to Grace.

In October-December 2011 there is an 'easing' of intensity, a period to 'take a breath' and integrate the changes of the past year. But things pick up by mid-late 2012 uranus will square Pluto and this is not an 'easy' transit, it does herald more change of a deep and significant kind. As Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius we need to engage the Age of Aquarius energy as the world comes to unity Consciousness, through the fire of transformation and Alchymie, which Pluto brings.

What is obvious in considering the coming few years and all of these planetary challenges is that the world is being forced to transition from what it has amounted to through the Karli Yuga - the separation, unconsciousness, limitation, suffering and forgetting of the vision of God – to  Consciousness, freedom, remembrance and intimacy with God and all living beings as unity, the truth of us. Restoring our connection to the Heart, to truth is all that is before us now and that has to be met. We can only heal the world through this remembrance and submission. It cannot be put outside of ourselves any longer.

The world is dependent on the Alchymie and Grace to bring this healing about. I truly believe that the Hermetic gifts of the Hearts of Space are a significant part of allowing this period to be as Graceful as possible. We may not be able to escape levels of disaster and breakdown – the fallout from Kali Yuga, but we can create places in which to be truly held, nourished, restored - places of sanctuary. The Bubblers and such are making this possible.

Transformation, Transformation, Transformation! That's right folks, if you want it you've got it, (even if you don't want it, you'll still be getting it...)

That's right folks, if you want it you've got it, (even if you don't want it, you'll still be getting it...) One of the main features of March is that Mars resumes direct motion on the 10th, having been in retrograde motion in the sign of Leo since the 20th of December last year. The retrograde motion brings some frustration in getting things accomplished and forces us to look at how we are expressing or using our energy. Mars moving forward in Leo can manifests in our having more passion, determination and ambition, or if we are holding on to unconscious patterns, could mean being intolerant, egotistical and perhaps melodramatic. In any case, this energy is forcing us to examine the karmic patterns we are still unconsciously acting out...

Along with this Mars influence, Neptune and Chiron are still holding together in an exact conjunction for the entire month. Needless to say this is still our perfect opportunity to release those karmic wounds we are holding onto - as Neptune dissolves and Chiron holds the pattern of what our wounds are. Remember, both of these planets are in the sign of Aquarius, meaning it is a time of lifting beyond the habit of clinging to our outdated patterns, and emerging into the Aquarian Unity Consciousness. This can be a painful process as we are being asked to surrender what is no longer serving for our spiritual growth. The recently released energies - The Crux and The Key, and Jackdaw of Hours and Jackdaw of Dreams, are proving very strong and supportive in the dissolution process.

Further adding grist to the mill is the continuing influence of Saturn squaring Pluto. We wrote quite extensively about these 2 planets in past newsletters, but here is a quick recap: Saturn in Libra is bringing the lessons of cooperation and balance - equilibrium in our relationships. It is also about more commitment to community and also in our one-on-one relationships. Pluto in Capricorn mounts pressure on our business and governmental structures that are no longer useful. When these two planets in these particular signs square, results in tension and pressure to force real change (or perhaps greater resistance to change for some), both on the personal and social/world level.

Also, the Disc of the month for March is 'Got the Wobbles', which is perfect in bringing more balance to counter these influences, clearing our eccentric behavior patterns or our 'wobbles' while we make these necessary transitions - helping to ground and straighten out our 'wobble'...

However, not all is doom and gloom for the month. On a positive note, this month has a strong Piscean flavor to it. The Sun will be in Pisces until the 21st, Mercury will be there too until the 18th, and also Jupiter for the whole month. The 16th is also New Moon in Pisces, being in conjunction with Mercury and Uranus. This can be a time of new beginnings, awakening us to greater depths of consciousness - beginning to put into place or allow the new levels of growth that we are experiencing. Jupiter in Pisces is about bringing and expanding a deeper knowing of the mystery of life, that re-connection to that which is real and true. This is also about awakening us to a greater feeling of the Divine. The Sixth Sense Collection energies are suggested to help with this.

Finally, on the 21st of this month the Sun enters Aries and is the 1st day of spring in the northern hemisphere, and autumn in the southern hemisphere. The Sun is in opposition to Saturn on this day, which is symbolique for the light of consciousness shining on and melting our karmic structures. May it be so. See you next month.

This year we are still undergoing many important transitions which are being clearly reflected in the stars. Our structures continue to be challenged, particularly the old ones. If you thought it was tough allowing and surrendering to the vast changes taking place with the challenge being thrown down from the stars, it can only be imagined the difficulty we may suffer if we continue holding on to the old patterns as they go sailing out the window! We are being challenged, yes, but truly we can no longer remain un-conscious to our environment, our relationships and our lives, continuing to put the solutions outside of ourselves. We must choose a greater destiny, the higher path, or cling to the old and simply become part of the 'wasted' stuff! which will it be...?

There are a few important matters to be aware of this month which can assist us in our gnosis and recognition of what is taking place, in order to aid in our letting go and surrender.

Chiron (the wounded healer and a recently discovered planetoid in our solar system) and Neptune are still together in Aquarius. The Sun will be in direct relationship with both of these planets on Valentine's Day - the 14th, all coinciding with the beginning of the Chinese New Year - year of the Metal Tiger. This, my friends, is going to afford us a great power of spiritual healing - a time of tremendous change if we allow it. The Sun lights up all it touches. Thus, its power will be shining on our Chiron aspects this weekend, (the areas of our lives that really require healing, but where we rarely allow ourselves to feel or be touched) providing great energy and liberation. By the end of the month, Mercury will also come into direct relationship with this dynamic duo - Chiron and Neptune, giving great clarity on how to pass through these transitions creatively. If you have the Chiron Wand energy, this would assist the transitions on offer this month. Remember to use the wand energy 'intentionally' asking for the wounds to be seen and transformed.

Our Pluto/Saturn square from January will remain a fixture in our heavens for the entirety of February. This square will contine to bring the alchymeic fire of Transformation to the planet, bringing tension to the old paradigm refusing to change. It can also be felt in signs of the earth breaking and straining under the pressure and we may see things like extreme weather patterns, eg. the earthquake in Haiti last month. The Alchymeic disc of the month, Baptism By Fire, is a perfect energy to help us align to this fiery and transitory period.

Something else to consider... our friend Mars is still retrograde in Leo for the entire month of February, which means it is still an important time for examining our relationship to how we use our energy, our life force. Leo rules the heart therefore be very aware of whether we are moving from the heart and not the head. It is also an important opportunity for us to inspect how are we using our creativity; again, how we are using our energy, which is ultimately the expression of the heart.

Finally, this month has the bonus of Mercury with the north node. We should receive a lot more clarity around our direction in becoming conscious human beings, finding ways to think and act globally and caring for our environment, may it be so!

All in all, with the ignition of the Chinese New Year and beginning to birth this Metal Tiger energy of dynamism, destabilisation and creativity, it is set to be a very intense passage into the early months of the new year. Again, remember, the question really is, are we going to acknowledge and accept responsibility for awakening to Consciousness and growth, or are we going to cling to our old, outdated ways.
